It's quite roomy: every day, he carries his bento lunch, a paperback book, a sketchbook, an iPod, and any number of other items. The expandability is a neat option. It appears to be well-made and I hope it lasts a long time. One thing I wish this bag had is more small pockets, maybe some of those little slots for pens? Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase.
